In the year 1975, Monica Pedemonte de Weddle, English teacher, specialized in preschool education, founded Macris Kindergarten.
With fresh and innovative ideas that includes visits to different settings such as farms, banks, art exhibits, museums and special visits by outstanding individuals, prominent professionals in their fields of expertise, interact with our students taking them on a journey of discovery and learning of real life scenarios and situations in a unique, happy and fun way. A strong English language based program which is both active and efficient with emphasis on mathematics and strategic academic programs enabled Macris Kindergarten to become the pilot educative program leader in Honduras.
In 1985, Macris Kindergarten continues its academic and value oriented education and Macris School is founded expanding to Primary and Secondary education following the same guidelines and high standards. It has been top priority for Macris Kindergaten to keep on being the specialized area for the safest and most rewarding development experience for children 6 years of age and younger.
