Main Playground

Our playground is pure joy!

All students are eagerly waiting for the school bell to ring letting everybody know it´s playtime. Children experiment a virtual city filled with paths, streets, and small houses. There are also swings, a small soccer court, and several play areas.

Our main playground is the ideal setting for musical and artistic presentations, choirs, and special visits. It´s also the setting to impose the band symbolizing the great moral and academic qualities that each of our students possess.

This place has trees that bloom with beautiful flowers every spring. It´s just an awesome place to be amongst friends.

Main Lawn

Just beside our main playground. It´s a beautiful green area surrounded by trees, small play houses, games, and swings. The shade provided by the foliage provides an ideal setting for outdoor classes and great storytelling. Children can run, jump, shout, roll around on the grass, have outdoor picnics or just lie down and stare at the sky and trees and hear the birds chirping and singing.

Japanese Garden

Our Japanese Garden was created with the sole purpose of exercising CONTROL. Control in every sense of the word; one´s voice, movements, and actions. We speak softly and politely, we walk and move slowly and orderly, and we practice stretching and perform relaxation techniques.

These practices and exercises allow the child to go into or back to class relaxed and happy.

Children love to stand in our bridge of “good wishes”. Anybody can wish something nice to anyone. It is a special and wonderful place.

Fruit Trees

We dedicate a special area of the campus to our fruit trees. This garden is located on the right hand side of the roundabout and main entrance. It was created to foster the love and care that each one of us has to have with the environment. Children get involved in the entire growth cycle, since it begins as a flower until it becomes an edible fruit. They get to experience how the trees change every season.  Following proper care of the numerous plants; by irrigating and caring for them, children participate in the harvest process. They learn to appropriately tear and cut the fruit so the trees won´t get damaged and identify recommended ripeness of the fruit.

Orchard

As part of our program that fosters love and care for the environment, we have our fruit and vegetable orchard. It is located on the north side of our campus, just behind the main building.

Here, our students plant the seeds, watch the plant grow, take care of it until it germinates. Watching a kid´s face when she/he pulls a beet or radishes out of the ground, in the same place were the seed was planted is priceless. The sense of pride and joy to know what one can accomplish with love, work, and care. Children learn to observe, patiently wait, take care and share these amazing experiences.
